Class Policy

Sewing Machine:  Right now, we don't have any rentals available.  Hopefully, in the near future we'll have enough to rent out for the day. So don't be afraid to show off the old girl, or new one at that!  Help will always be available to carry in your sewing machine if you need it.

Basic Class Supplies Needed:
  • Quality sewing thread suitable for your type of quilting.  Try Aurifil. It's one of the best.
  • Medium sized cutting mat (18" x 24") We have cutting mats available, but don't you hate having to wait in line to cut fabric?  I always get stuck behind someone who wants to cut out their entire quilt at one time.
  • Rotary cutter
  • Small scissors for clipping threads, paper scissors might be appropriate
  • Favorite quilting ruler.  My favorites are a 6 1/2" square and a 6" x 18"
  • All the extras: pins, seam rippers, chocolate etc.

Other Supplies:
  • All class attendees must have a legal copy of the class pattern or book.  Sorry about that folks, but it just isn't right to share patterns in a class that you've paid for; copyright rules and all that.  So, no photocopies and no sharing of your book.
  • A class supply list for your specific class will be given to you prior to class, and again when you loose it and need another.  We understand, things happen.
  • Gather your supplies before class starts.  You don't want to miss all the fun in class by having to go back and pick up items you left at home, so bring it all with you.  'Course you can always pop upstairs and pick up anything you need, but you might miss some of the fun!

Class Sign-up:  You can sign up at the Store or Online.  If you call, we'll be glad to put you on the "waiting list" but those who pay first get the seat.  Oh! and if you see us on the street or in a meeting... you might as well bet on it that we're gonna forget and you won't get on the waiting list either.  Sorry, but we're as forgetful as you are! Full payment is the only guarantee of your seat in class. Don't be shy to call us at the last minute in case someone canceled and a spot opens up.

Class Fees:  Like we said before, the seat goes to the person who's paid up.  We won't "hold" you a seat, but we'll be glad to put you at the bottom of the wait list.

Refunds:
  • 7 days prior to class day or earlier - You will be given a FULL refund or we will be happy to register you in another class.
  • Within 7 days of the class day - You will receive a credit in the amount of the class to be used at a later date towards a Class Fee only.
  • The day of class or 'no-show' - No refund regardless of reason.
  • If you sign up within 7 days of class, the above policies still apply.
  • Basic Piecing class - If you miss the first class of The Basic Piecing Class, you cannot continue the remaining sessions. You will forfeit $15 and be refunded $60 in Class Fees onto a Never Enough Fabrics and Quilting Gift Certificate.
  • There are no refunds on class fees for "Special Event" teachers/classes within 30 days of class date unless we can fill your spot with another person. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Private lessons are required to be paid for when scheduled. There are no refunds on private lessons unless Never Enough Fabrics and Quilting cancels the lesson rather than reschedules.

Cancellation:
  • Minimum number of students is decided upon by the class instructor.  If the minimum is not met 7 days prior to the class, they have the right to cancel the class.  However, they may choose to teach with less than 4 students.  If the class is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of your class fee.
  • Never Enough Fabrics and Quilting reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason.  If that happens, you will receive a full refund.

Class Time:
  • Please turn off your cell phone or put it on vibrate.
  • Please don't wear perfume.  You may like the way you smell, but others may be allergic to it!
  • Please do not bring children or pets.  Once again: allergies.

Participants:  We have children's and teen classes specifically designed for their interests and attention spans.  All unaccompanied children will be given a kitten.  (Believe me, we ended up with one once.  We'll be glad to share the love!)
